Founding Pastor Beau Zilinski and his wife Charmaine moved to Medicine Hat in 1998 with their
then three children, Sheena, Nathanael and Jordan. Two more boys, Beau-Marcus and Reece were
added to the family in the years after their arrival in Medicine Hat.
Beginning by teaching Sunday School to neighborhood children and winning their first souls in the
basement of their rented duplex, moving the ‘church’ into the basement of their next rented home on
20th St NE, experiencing a breakthrough and moving the church yet again to an upstairs office space
in the downtown core, Pastor Zilinski and his family lived a life of commitment and faith. They were
blessed to see Life Church outgrow this small space a few years later and a door open to move into a
much larger 5500 sq. ft. storefront one street over. It was in this location that revival blossomed and
many new souls were added to the Kingdom over a period of 4 years. Due to safety concerns, this
location was vacated and they began holding services in the Public Library Theatre for several months.
Life Church is now located in the rear portion of the very large Fifth Avenue Memorial Church on
4th St. SE downtown. We have been blessed with a much larger sanctuary, two Sunday School rooms,
fellowship room, Pastor’s office as well as mens and womens washrooms and a kitchen.
Life Church is a revival church where the anointing of God is found and souls are being delivered and
saved under the direction of a passionate and Kingdom minded Pastor.
